Mihi & Pepeha

Our RSS School Mihi
A pepeha is a way to introduce yourself in Maori, to describe whakapapa (geneology) links to a tribe / area. The RSS mihi is an introduction in Maori that tells the story of how we belong to our community and our School. The children will all learn this unless your family has other tribal affiliations that you would like your child to use.

Swimming Sports

On Thursday Russell Street School had swimming sports at the Lido.  We did things like breaststroke, backstroke, freestyle, and relay racing.  The best part of the day was to go to the Esplanade.  It was awesome I loved the tyre swings and the flyingfox the most.  It turned out to be a great day and lots of fun.
